Queensland’s Premier Private Club

A private members’ club on Adelaide Street, for the people who run Queensland’s business. Here since 1903, and open to new members.

Est. 1903

In the heart of Brisbane’s CBD, Queensland’s industry leaders meet to do business, to unwind, and to be known by name.

Queensland’s most influential professionals gather, not to network, but to belong. The Brisbane Club has been a fixture of Brisbane business since 1903: a place for real conversation, a cellar without equal, and a table worth leaving the office for.

Our Club

More than 4,000 bottles below street level, a Hall of Fame cellar at the Australian Wine List Awards, and a Cellar Master who knows which bottle suits your table.

The Brisbane Club Magazine

Step inside the pages that capture life at the Club — the people, the Cellar, the evenings worth remembering. Read the first few pages now, and leave your details to keep going.

Every member is proposed and seconded by someone who already belongs. There's no application to fill in, no fee that buys your way past it. Since 1903, membership here has been an aspiration first, and a privilege second.

The Cellar, three-time Australian Wine List of the Year. A dining room worth leaving the office for. Every detail considered, every visit bespoke to the member in the room. Some things still can't be replicated behind a screen, and this Club is built on that fact.

Express your interest

Members meet as peers, not contacts, across business, government, law and the professions. No pitching, no forced networking, just a room where introductions tend to outlast the introduction itself, and conversations run longer than anyone planned.

Honour boards carry real names, real dates, real history. Members are known here, not by title but by name, welcomed into a pedigree of friendships that outlasts careers, committees and even the room they were first made in.
